Age approximately 250 – 260 million years ago.

Cladding
Cadeby Gold limestone is suitable for use as external cladding at 40mm thick, this is based on the assumptions given in Arup’s report dated February 2004 which is available for download from this site.
External paving/Internal flooring
Cadeby Gold Limestone is suitable for use as internal flooring in moderately trafficked areas, such as an office. Cadeby Gold is noted to be slip resistant when wet or dry, providing the stone has a sawn surface finish and each of the stones are frost resistant.
