Cadeby Brown limestone is a magnesian limestone which has a very attractive Buff colour, it was laid down in the Lower Permian
Age approximately 250 – 260 million years ago.

Cladding
Cadeby Brown limestone is suitable for use as external cladding at 40mm thick, this is based on the assumptions given in Arup’s report dated February 2004 which is available for download from this site.
External paving/Internal flooring
Cadeby Brown Limestone is suitable for use as internal flooring and external paving in moderately trafficked areas, such as an office. Cadeby Brown is noted to be slip resistant when wet or dry, providing the stone has a sawn surface finish and each of the stones are frost resistant.
