Camillo Prantil marmi e graniti is an industrial group within which the age-old stonecutter craftsmanship has been handed down from generation to generation. The Prantil family regards the working of marble and granite as a calling, i.e. a mission which begins with the careful selection of the best slabs and ends with the cutting and shaping of unique pieces of Italian design. The company was set up by Camillo Prantil in 1945. Business decisively gathered momentum at the turn of the 1970s when Camillo Prantil began to restructure the company and make products that were targeted at new markets beyond the regional borders of Trentino. In the 1980s and 1990s, with the help of, among other, technological research, the company industrialized many products that were unique for that time. This provided the springboard for the expansion into foreign markets. Nowadays, the company continues to draw inspiration from its deep-rooted history in order to innovate. Thanks to, among other, an image renewal which highlights its many proven strongpoints, the company has become one of the leading ambassadors of Italian craftsmanship and design.
