Natural Purbeck Stone from the Isle of Purbeck has been used as a traditional building and paving material throughout the United Kingdom since Roman times.
Recently it has been used on restoration works at Windsor Castle and Westminster Abbey. New schemes include Southampton City Centre and the Duchy of Cornwall project at Poundbury near Dorchester.
The Lovell quarries produce a wide range of Purbeck stone in a variety of colours which are suitable for a range of applications including building, walling, flooring, paving, roof-tiling, monumental and hard landscaping.
