Product Description
A pair of mid 18th century lead cisterns
Circa 1750, having a heraldic motif to the front panel in the form of a griffin rampant and two medieval style face masks, sinister and dexter. The flat plain back would have been placed against a wall as these decorative cisterns were originally in use to collect rain water at the base of the house guttering.
