Tuff is a light, cemented, porous rock. It is formed either by direct precipitation from air by volcanic eruption, or in the result of transfer of tuffaceous material by water and air streams.

Tuff is widely used in architectural décor and dressing of household plots. It serves as a material for cutting sculptures, monuments and other elements of landscape design. In form of tiles it is used for making floors and as a covering material.
