The Company “Kariotis Natural Stones” was established on 1989. Its activities include processing and trading of Kavala slate, always selling quality materials originally in Greece.
From the second half of the ’90s it launched its first exports to several European countries, and then in the mid-2000s the sales and especially the exports of its products sharply increased. As a result, a new company under the trading name “HELLENIC STONE G.P.” was established, which was solely involved in exports.
The original company continued to invest in the last decade in raw material, taking over and creating new quarries in the wider area of Paggaio mountain, establishing another new company under the trading name “D. MICHALOPOULOU L.P.” involved in slate extraction.
The original company also imports various stone products from many countries, always considering the material quality. These companies are well-organized providing customer service in Greece and abroad, and always offering the best quality of all materials.
