Balcony: protruding platform on the facade of a building surrounded by a railing and generally supported by columns or console.
Balustrade: row of several balusters with a support shelf and for ornamental or fence. Baluster: small pillar shaped used in the construction of a balustrade. (source: Pierre Noël, "the stone of Technology" PTNS ed.)
