Rosavel Granite is a pink-colored rock, characterized by the size of its grains, some of which can sometimes reach 40 mm. It is classified as “granite with potassium feldspar megacrystals” and there are large natural reserves. It is extracted in the province of Ourense, in the municipality of Padrenda. The quarrying fronts are of great length, without fractures, alterations and variations in tone. Large blocks can be extracted and the material also accepts any type of surface finish and there is no loss of polish or alteration over time. It can be placed on interior or exterior elements.
