The Carparo is a calcarenitic stone typical of Salento, deriving from the cementation of calcareous rock sediments, in a marine environment. This particular, blond and grainy sandstone reaches its most valuable characteristics in the Mater Gratiae quarries between Alezio and Gallipoli, a locality of the Angelè Giorgio company. The warm color of the Carparo and its excellent mechanical characteristics, impermeability and resistance to erosion, make this rock perfect both for exteriors and interiors.
In the products section there are coatings, frames, columns, wall covers and furnishing accessories, but it is also possible to carry out projects.
Like all 100% natural materials, Carparo stone does not present a completely homogeneous appearance and can vary granulometry and chromatic concentration depending on the greater or lesser concentration of its chemical components and the differences in extraction. In addition to the traditional fine-grained Carparo, the medium-grained rustic Carparo and the red Carparo are also present in our production.
