Oberstreit Granite Raw Slabs

Raw or surface-treated boards (grinding, polishing, flame, peas, sand), which has a modified appearance obtained as a result of a single or multiple surface treatment (mechanical or thermal).

A flat element made of natural stone of a specific shape whose two linear dimensions: length and width deviate from the third (thickness) not exceeding 20 cm; is a semi-finished product or product obtained by wiping blocks and stone blocks.

In addition, Granit Strzegom and Granit Żółkiewka are igneous, deep-water, biotite rocks of light gray color. They have medium grain structure. In the rock mass, there are few changes in granulation, lighter feldspar and quartz clusters, and darker biotite in the form of nests and streaks, as well as few pale agate or pegmatite veins of a lighter color with different directions. These changes have no effect on the physicochemical and strength parameters of the manufactured product.

SPECIES I: Uniform rock material preserving grain size, colors with shades characteristic of STRZEGOM granite. Permissible inclusions of a different color or their clusters to one per 1 m² to a diameter of 3 cm (mouse).

SPECIES II: Rock material with variable grain size, color smudges deviating from the typical stone color, mineral inclusions or clusters up to four per 1 m².

SPECIES B: Rock material with veins on the surface, number of mineral clusters of a different color over four per 1 m², grain size changing the appearance of the surface.

Permissible faults:

depth of traces of wiping, jams, depressions and scratches up to 2 mm;

warping the surface of the board on the length of 1 m measured diagonally up to 3 mm.

deviations in plate thickness: from 2 to 3 cm is 10%, above 3 to 8 cm ± 3 mm, over 8 cm ± 5 mm.
