Maintenance Informations

1. Tumbled Finish: This finish involves a process where the stone is mechanically tumbled with abrasive materials to create a textured and slightly rough surface. Tumbled bluestone provides good slip resistance and a rustic, aged appearance.

2. Honed Finish: Honed bluestone has a smooth and matte appearance achieved by grinding the surface to a consistent level. While it offers a sleek and elegant look, it may become slippery when wet. However, an additional treatment, such as applying an anti-slip sealer, can enhance the slip resistance.

3. Brushed Finish: This finish is achieved by brushing the surface of the bluestone with wire brushes, resulting in a textured and slightly rough surface. Brushed bluestone offers improved slip resistance compared to honed finishes and provides a more natural and rustic appearance.

4. Sandblasted Finish: In this finish, high-pressure sandblasting is used to create a rough texture on the surface of the
bluestone. Sandblasted bluestone provides excellent slip resistance and is suitable for pool decks. It has a slightly coarse and granular appearance.
