Italy Travertine Slabs Honed For Indoor Flooring Design
Silver travertine is a chic color from the travertine family which is a form of limestone deposited by mineral springs. This silver colored natural stone has a porous structure and is often used in construction as a building material for houses, offices, hospitals, temples, shrines, swimming pools and bath complexes. It is mostly used indoors i.e. wall coverings, countertops, backsplashes, floorings, but can also be used outdoors due to the stone’s great quality to endure harsh weather conditions. It can be found in many forms i.e. tile, paver, slab and mosaic.Silver travertine has variation even in pattern depending on the type of cut used on the stone. In cross-cut, the surface is composed of different tones of the same color due to evasion of the tile’s vein during the cutting process. In vein-cut, the slabs are cut in a way that results in in a sharp parallel vein with holes and alternating tones throughout the surface.

Usage Informations
Italy silver travertine, also called Italy silver travertine is a type of natural stone that is quarried in Italy.
It is known for its classic and timeless appearance, which features a white or light gray background with soft, gray veining that can be either subtle or more pronounced depending on the slab. The veining can be fine and linear or thicker and more irregular, creating a distinctive and elegant look.
The surface of Italy silver travertine marble is usually polished to a high shine, which enhances the natural beauty of the stone and gives it a smooth and glossy finish. The stone can also be honed for a more matte or satin-like appearance, or brushed for a textured surface.
Overall, Italy silver travertine is a highly desirable material for interior design due to its elegant and versatile appearance, durability, and accessibility. It is often used in a variety of residential and commercial projects for applications such as countertops, flooring, and wall cladding.
